Story

WHO is MEME, and what is it that MEME does?

MEME is a new music label with a mission to unite quality music from around the globe together under one house. We like to switch things up now and then. Expect the unexpected.

At MEME we understand house encompasses more than just one sound. As the song proclaims, house music is a universal language, spoken and understood by all. From Tunisia and Bulgaria to the frozen Midwest of Chicago and Minneapolis; From the deep darker sounds of House to future sides of Garage, it don’t make a difference in our HOUSE.

This is… How We House.

Aaron and Nathan

Aaron Hart and Nathan Carlton

MEME is primarily run by four guys from Minneapolis:

  • Aaron Hart from Havens+Hart (Stranjjur, Sleazy Deep)
  • Nathan Carlton aka Spur (Large, Onethirty)
  • Jeff Loeding aka Jeff Swiff (MEME)
  • Mitch Green (mggrafik.com)

Our family of talented artists hail from all over: Tunisia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Denmark and the UK; plus major US cities like New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and of course Minneapolis.

Our most recent addition has been Juan Ramirez from Bogota, Colombia who is helping with promotions and social media.

Keep an ear out for us and thanks in advance for the support!!

Yours,
Aaron, Nathan, Mitch and Juan

In the beginning, there was silence.

Three musicians heard the call.
